What is CSEET?
The CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the entrance-level examination for students entering the Company Secretary course through the applicable route. The current structure contains four papers: Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic and Business Environment, and Business Laws and Management.
Who Can Appear for CSEET?
ICSI's current information states that Class 12 appearing, Class 12 passed (any stream) or equivalent students, as well as eligible undergraduate students, can enter the CS course through CSEET, subject to applicable rules. See our full CS eligibility guide.

CSEET Examination Sessions
ICSI currently conducts CSEET three times a year — February, June and October. This is a major change from the previous cycle, so avoid relying on outdated CSEET websites or old blog posts.
CSEET Registration Fees
ICSI's June 2026 information listed a registration fee of ₹7,500 and an examination fee of ₹1,500. Fees, concessions and deadlines can change, so confirm the current amount directly with ICSI before registering.
Student Induction Programme
ICSI currently states that the Student Induction Programme (SIP) is a prerequisite for enrolling in the CSEET examination. Complete this requirement within the prescribed timeline.
How Long Should You Prepare?

Is CSEET Difficult?

CSEET Preparation Strategy
