The CS Professional Programme is the final academic stage of the Company Secretary qualification. By this point, the objective is no longer just to learn the fundamentals of corporate law and compliance — students must analyse complex professional situations involving governance, compliance, drafting, due diligence, corporate finance, restructuring, valuation and insolvency.

Current CS Professional Structure
ICSI currently lists 7 papers across two groups:
Group 1: ESG — Principles & Practice; Drafting, Pleadings & Appearances; Compliance Management, Audit & Due Diligence; Elective 1.
Group 2: Strategic Management & Corporate Finance; Corporate Restructuring, Valuation & Insolvency; Elective 2.
