Is It Better to Attempt One Group or Both?
There's no universal answer — the correct strategy depends on the individual student.
One Group May Be Better When
Working full-time, returning after a failed attempt, weak in multiple subjects, limited preparation time, or wanting maximum revision depth.
Both Groups May Be Suitable When
Studying full-time, strong academic foundation, sufficient preparation time, able to complete the syllabus early, and can take multiple mocks.
The Revision Test
Before choosing both groups, ask: can I complete the syllabus early enough to revise every paper at least twice? If not, the workload may be too aggressive.
Avoid Peer Pressure
A student who clears one group is ahead of a student who fails two groups. The objective isn't to attempt the maximum number of papers — it's to qualify efficiently.
Strategy Should Change After a Failure
If you've already attempted a group and struggled, simply repeating the same study strategy may not work. Analyse whether the issue was knowledge, revision, answer writing, time, attempt selection, or test practice — then change the process.
