How to Prepare for CS Executive in 6 Months

Published 2026-08-22 · 6 min read · By CS Rankers Faculty Team

Month 1: Orientation and Fundamentals

Understand the syllabus, start all subjects, establish a timetable, and build basic concepts. Don't spend the entire month on one paper.

Month 2: Syllabus Coverage

Increase the pace and continue question practice.

Month 3: Deep Concept Building

By the end of month three, aim for substantial syllabus coverage. Start topic tests.

Month 4: Complete First Reading

Finish remaining major chapters and begin systematic revision of early chapters.

Month 5: Revision + Tests

Move heavily into subject tests, case studies, numerical practice and answer writing.

Month 6: Mocks + Final Revision

Focus on full-length tests, weak areas, revision notes, previous questions and exam timing.

Weekly Schedule

Monday–Friday: Classes + self-study. Saturday: Test. Sunday: Revision + test analysis. Adapt this to your module combination.
